Choose a narrator voice
The short answer
Choose the narrator when you start a video. Every voice is AI-generated and speaks English, and the job page labels the narration that way.
| Voice | Sound | Words a second |
|---|---|---|
| Maya (default) | Warm. Casual and easygoing, close to the mic. Good for vlogs. | 2.7 |
| Damon | Documentary. Deep, serious and steady. Made for long stories. | 2.6 |
| Molly | Bright. Cheerful and upbeat. Keeps short clips moving. | 2.6 |
| Vivian | Dramatic. Rich, expressive and a little theatrical. Great for characters. | 2.6 |
| Clyde | Calm. Gentle, measured and clear. The default for tutorials. | 2.5 |
| Edward | Punchy. Confident, persuasive ad read. Sells the thing. | 2.8 |
Each voice has a sample on the New video screen. A faster voice fits more words into the same footage, so the script's word limit changes with the voice.
There is no speed or delivery control. The Vibe prompt shapes the words; the voice sets the sound.

- Steer the words with a Vibe promptThe Vibe prompt is an optional brief. It shapes what the script says and how it says it; the voice you choose sets the sound.
- Which languages are supportedScripts, narration and captions are in English. German, Spanish and French are planned but not available yet.
- Why the script has a word limitThe narration has to fit the footage, so the word limit is the clip's length multiplied by the voice's speaking rate, which the voices table lists in words a second.
