The rules
One area for every style.
Every caption style keeps to the same safe area. It depends only on the frame's shape.
- Upright frames
- Captions sit above the bottom 20%, where short-form apps place their controls. That includes every Portrait 9:16 version.
- Landscape and square
- Captions sit above the bottom 8%.
- One word
- Each word shows on its own, centred between the top and bottom of the safe area.
- Another format
- From a finished video, Create another format makes a Portrait 9:16 version. Its captions move into that frame's safe area.
